Complexity is not to be admired. It is to be avoided!
There’s a sense that you have to cover all your options because you could be attacked at any moment. You can’t miss anything or it could be fatal to your carrier. This leads to maddening complexity. The best way to deal with these natural fears is to focus on the right problem. That’s the power of simplicity.
Besides, people don’t want to spent too much time on thinking. By simplifying a complex issue, you are making it easier for people make a decision faster, without too much thought.
We forget simple principles in our day to day business and therefore loose Focus – we concentrate on what doesn’t add value to the product or the customer, and make simple things difficult in the process. Do not make a hue and cry about Darkness, just light a candle and it will solve the problem!
Be Simple! Be simple in Management Systems and business practices. Its time to uncomplicate things. Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) said this a long time back. ‘Make things simple and do not complicate them. Calm people and do not drive them away.’
